101 Barber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit ogranization

We at 101 Barbershop are incredibly excited to share some momentous news. We’ve established the 101 Barber Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (formerly Love is Cure INC., established in 2022). Our mission is to empower and uplift individuals within the autism and special needs community. We believe in fostering inclusion and providing opportunities for growth and development, extending beyond simply providing exceptional haircuts.

Our immediate focus is building a supportive network through inclusive community events. These include our annual Christmas party and toy drive, as well as our popular Easter egg hunt – events designed to build bonds and create joyful experiences for children and families. Every Tuesday, we offer free haircuts to children with special needs, celebrating their unique strengths and personalities. We firmly believe that every child deserves moments of joy, relaxation, and a fantastic haircut!

Looking ahead, the 101 Barber Foundation has ambitious plans. We are actively developing a comprehensive career training program and a tuition assistance program to equip individuals with the skills and resources needed to pursue careers in barbering and cosmetology. Our ultimate vision is to create a specialized barbering and cosmetology school tailored specifically to the needs and learning styles of our autism and special needs community – a school where they can learn at their own pace, without limitations or barriers.

This commitment extends beyond our immediate community. We are proud to partner with the Las Vegas Library District, Barbershop Books, and the NFL’s Inspire Boxes to promote literacy and community engagement. These collaborations highlight our dedication to creating a broader impact and enriching the lives of children beyond our direct services.
